A lot has happened since I started this webpage in my last update. I'VE GRADUATED!!! After 4 long years I've graduated my EEE degree at university.
So whats next?
A big move. A Really Big Move. Across the English channel and into mainland Europe. I'm now living in Germany for the forseeable future I hope. It's been a dream of mine to live abroad and having a girlfriend in another country is really strong motivation to do so. Therfore I have. We are now living together while I search for work. Unfortunatley I came at the perfect time as Germany is heading into recession :(.
Rip me I guess.
I have a few ideas on what to do. The SEMI and Electronica conference are happening this November in Munich so expect to see me there. Theres a few smaller conferences also I'm going to be trying to network at so wish me luck.
Other than that next big focus is learning German of course. Of course before my move I had practiced a little but I still only talk like a toddler which is no good. And the book I borowed from the library requires a CD player and the gf threw hers away eons ago. Lessons are also quite expensive, but I expect given time and living here I should slowly pick it up. Other than that I've been spending too much time playing Crusader Kings 3. Started as a count now we emperor of carpathia. I had controll over almost the entirety of the Roman empire somehow at one point. But as the game goes there were too many rebellions and now I have once again regressed back to my moderatly sized empire. Less stress that way anyway.
Reminder to myself to start working on my pretty notes project before the conferences to scratch up on my knowledge. Not doing any work for a few months scares me as I feel as though I am slowly unlearning the information I spent 4 years learning. What a waste that would be...
To be quite honest... I'm suprised I got this working.
I'm Hysen, and I have a few ideas for projects, blogs, stories and other creative outputs that I need somewhere to keep them all and why not here. I used to do HTML for fun when I was between primary and high school but I've forgotten it all now so I guess this will be my first project and then I'll just update the site from here.
